Solenoid-Driven Dosing Pumps
The working principle of an electromagnetic dosing pump is the same as that of an electromechanical diaphragm dosing pump. The distinguishing feature is that the piston’s movement is powered by a magnet, which creates a magnetic field using electrical energy. This power, generated by the magnetic field when energized, moves the piston and the diaphragm attached to it, allowing the dosing of chemicals. Also known as solenoid dosing pumps, electromagnetic dosing pumps are suitable for dosing applications that require chemical dosing up to a capacity of 100 liters per hour. Due to their production technology, they are more appropriate for simpler process applications rather than heavy-duty use.
