W Series Progressive Cavity Pumps

W Series Progressive Cavity Pumps.

SYDEX W series progressive cavity pumps are designed for transferring fluids with viscosities higher than 10,000 cps. Such highly viscous fluids cannot flow from the pump’s suction chamber to the rotor-stator section directly, which is why the W series pumps are utilized. Unlike standard progressive cavity pumps, the suction inlet of this series does not have a flange connection.

Key Features:

  • Hopper Design: An open-mouth hopper is used, allowing the fluid to enter the pump through this chamber. The hopper design facilitates the fluid’s transfer to the rotor-stator section.
  • Special Auger-Type Coupling Rod: A special auger system is used to help the fluid transfer and reach the rotor-stator section. The auger operates with precise tolerances between the hopper and the auger to ensure maximum transfer efficiency.
  • Injection Connection Points: Depending on process requirements, additional injection connection points can be added to the hopper body if other fluids need to be dosed into the main fluid.

Technical Specifications:

  • Capacity: 0.5 - 80 m³/hour
  • Pressure: Up to 48 bar
  • Material Options: As with other models, the W series also offers various body, rotor, and stator material options.

W series progressive cavity pumps offer high performance and flexibility, especially in transferring highly viscous and complex fluids.
