H Series Progressive Cavity Pumps
H series progressive cavity pumps are specially produced hygienic progressive cavity pump models for the food and pharmaceutical industries. Standard progressive cavity pump models cannot meet the hygiene requirements needed at every stage of these processes. Pump connections, surfaces in contact with the fluid, and the suitability of sterilization processes performed on the pump and lines, among other features, must address the needs of these processes.
In H series progressive cavity pumps, process connections are selected from types that comply with food regulations, such as DIN 11851, Clamp, RJT, SMS, DIN 2501, ISO, GAS, etc. The body and other metal components that come into contact with the fluid are made from stainless materials. The stator material is made from FDA-approved white nitrile. The open pin structure that connects the moving parts prevents the formation of bacteria on the pump. A critical aspect of pumps for food processes is their compliance with the CIP (clean in place) process. H series progressive cavity pumps are designed to be compatible with CIP processes, allowing the pump and lines to be cleaned with appropriate chemicals after fluid transfer.
Like other progressive cavity pump models, H series progressive cavity pumps can also be used for transferring viscous fluids. In necessary cases, hopper designs similar to those in G and W series models can also be applied to these models.
