Digester Tank
Glass Fused to Steel Tanks can be used primarily for biogas storage in anaerobic wastewater treatment plants and farms. The capacities of these tanks, which range from 60 m³ to 20,000 m³, can be increased later if needed, and they can also be disassembled and relocated if desired.
Glass Fused to Steel tanks are especially advantageous in these facilities because enamel is highly resistant to the corrosion caused by H2S and biogases (the most durable coating available), requiring no maintenance or repairs for many years. They can be used in hot and cold reactors up to 60 °C. Thermal insulation can be applied to the tank’s roof and body, and any required steel construction for accessories or mixers to be installed inside the tank can be provided along with the tank.
