Aquaturbo Submersible Aerator

Aquaturbo Submersible Aerator.

The AER-SB series submersible aerators operate within wastewater basins based on the principle of a submersible pump, as suggested by their name. The AER-SB submersible aerator, positioned at the bottom of the basin, draws ambient air from the atmosphere through a pipe extending to the surface and distributes it into the wastewater from the basin's bottom. This process both oxygenates the wastewater and provides effective mixing through the generated air bubbles within the basin. The AER-SB is particularly ideal for wastewater basins with high solid particle content due to its long-lasting and maintenance-free design.

The AER-SB submersible aerator is designed to operate within wastewater with its epoxy-coated cast body and special submersible motor. Other surfaces in contact with wastewater are made from standard AISI 304 material, with alternative body options available for special applications. The AER-SB model aerators are more suitable for small wastewater basins and narrow tanks. When the size of the wastewater basin increases or in cases where the tank has larger dimensions, the AER-SB/L model is a more appropriate solution. In this model, the ambient air drawn from the atmosphere is distributed into the wastewater from the basin's bottom over a wider surface area using extended arms, forming bubbles. If necessary, an external blower can be used to provide air supply to the submersible aerator. In basins where the wastewater depth exceeds 5 meters, submersible aerators are preferable over surface aerators to reduce motor power requirements.
